ONE HADITH A DAY
Muwatta Malik no. 1140
وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ لَقَدْ بَلَغَنِي أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم كَانَ يُولِمُ بِالْوَلِيمَةِ مَا فِيهَا خُبْزٌ وَلاَ لَحْمٌ .
“Yahya related to me from Malik that Yahya ibn Said said, "I have heard that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, held a wedding feast in which there was neither meat nor bread”
