ONE HADITH A DAY
Sahih Bukhari no. 4258
حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، حَدَّثَنَا وُهَيْبٌ، حَدَّثَنَا أَيُّوبُ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ تَزَوَّجَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم مَيْمُونَةَ وَهْوَ مُحْرِمٌ، وَبَنَى بِهَا وَهْوَ حَلاَلٌ وَمَاتَتْ بِسَرِفَ.
“Narrated Ibn `Abbas:The Prophet (ﷺ) married Maimuna while he was in the state of Ihram but he consummated that marriage after finishing that state. Maimuna died at Sarif (i.e. a place near Mecca)”
