ONE HADITH A DAY
Sunan Abu Dawud no. 483
حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدٍ الْجُرَيْرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي الْعَلاَءِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، بِمَعْنَاهُ زَادَ ثُمَّ دَلَكَهُ بِنَعْلِهِ .
“Abu al-‘Ala’ reported this tradition on the authority of his father to the same effect with a different chain of narrators. This version adds:“He then rubbed it with his shoe”
