ONE HADITH A DAY
Jami' at-Tirmidhi no. 2268
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ قَامَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ فَقَالَ " هَا هُنَا أَرْضُ الْفِتَنِ وَأَشَارَ إِلَى الْمَشْرِقِ حَيْثُ يَطْلُعُ جِذْلُ الشَّيْطَانِ " . أَوْ قَالَ " قَرْنُ الشَّيْطَانِ " . هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ .
“Ibn 'Umar narrated that the Messenger of Allah(s.a.w) stood on the Minbar and said:"The land of Fitan is there" and he pointed to the east, meaning: "Where the sun rises from the horn of Shaitan" or he said: "The horn of the sun”
