ONE HADITH A DAY

The prescribed corporal punishments are not to be carried out in mosques; nor should retribution be carried out in them

Narrated by Abu Daoud · Good hadith

عن حكيم بن حزام رضي الله عنه مرفوعًا: «لا تُقَامُ الحدود في المساجد، ولا يُسْتَقَادُ فيها».

“Hakīm ibn Hizām (may Allah be pleased with him) reported the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The prescribed corporal punishments are not to be carried out in mosques; nor should retribution be carried out in them."”
