ONE HADITH A DAY

There was no person more beloved to them (the Companions) than the ‎Messenger of Allah (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him). Nevertheless, they would ‎not stand up when they saw him, knowing his dislike for that

Narrated by At-Termedhy · Authentic hadith

عن أنس رضي الله عنه ، قال: «لم يكن شخصٌ أَحَبَّ إليهم مِن رسول الله -صلى الله عليه وسلم، وكانوا إذا رَأَوْه لم يقوموا لِمَا يَعْلَمون مِن كَرَاهِيَته لذلك».

“Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: There was no person more beloved to them (the ‎Companions) than the Messenger of Allah (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him). ‎Nevertheless, they would not stand up when they saw him, knowing his dislike for that.”
