ONE HADITH A DAY

Jibrīl brought ‘Ā’ishah’s image in a piece of green silk to the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) and said: This is your wife in the world and the Hereafter

عن عائشة رضي الله عنها ، أنَّ جبريل جاء بصورتها في خِرْقَة حَرير خضراء إلى النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم ، فقال: «هذه زوجتُك في الدنيا والآخرة».

“‘Ā’ishah reported that Jibrīl brought her image in a piece of green silk to the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) and said: "This is your wife in the world and the Hereafter."”
