ONE HADITH A DAY

The nearest the Lord to a servant is in the course of the last part of the night

Narrated by Abu Dāwūd, At-Tirmidhi, and An-Nasā’i · Authentic

“Abu ’Umāmah reported: ‘Amr ibn ‘Abasah (may Allah be pleased with him) related to me that he heard the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) say: "The nearest the Lord to a servant is in the course of the last part of the night. So, if you are able to be among those who remember Allah at that hour, do so."”
