ONE HADITH A DAY

There shall be rulers in charge of you, and you will approve and disapprove. So anyone who approves (their good deeds) shall be absolved, and anyone who forbids (their bad deeds) shall be safe, except for those who are content and comply

Narrated by Muslim · Authentic

“’Umm Salamah, the Mother of the Believers, (may Allah be pleased with her) reported that the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: "There shall be rulers in charge of you, and you will approve and disapprove. So anyone who approves (their good deeds) shall be absolved, and anyone who forbids (their bad deeds) shall be safe, except for those who are content and comply." They said: ''Shall we not fight them?'' He replied: "No, so long as they offer the prayer."”
