ONE HADITH A DAY

When the funeral is placed and men carry it on their shoulders, if it was righteous, it says: Take me forward,

Narrated by Al-Bukhāri · Authentic

“Abu Sa‘īd al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When the funeral is placed and men carry it on their shoulders, if it was righteous, it says: Take me forward, but if it was not righteous, it says: Woe to it! Where are they taking it? Everything hears its voice except man, and if he could hear it, he would fall unconscious."”
