ONE HADITH A DAY

He who is deprived of gentleness is deprived of goodness

Narrated by Muslim · Authentic

عَنْ جَرِيرٍ رضي الله عنه عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «مَنْ يُحْرَمِ الرِّفْقَ يُحْرَمِ الْخَيْرَ».

“Jarīr (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: "He who is deprived of gentleness is deprived of goodness."”

Explanation

The Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) informs that whoever is deprived of gentleness and is not guided to it concerning religious and worldly matters, and in what he does for himself and what he does with others, has been deprived of all goodness.
