ONE HADITH A DAY

Every person will be resurrected in the same state he died in

Narrated by Muslim · Authentic hadith

عن جابر بن عبد الله رضي الله عنهما قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم : «يُبْعَثُ كلُّ عبدٍ على ما مات عليه».

“Jābir ibn ‘Abdullāh (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Every person will be resurrected in the same state he died in."”

Explanation

Everyone will be resurrected on the Day of Judgment in the same state he died in.
