ONE HADITH A DAY
Narrated by Bukhari & Muslim · Authentic hadith
عن عائشة رضي الله عنها ، قالت: سمعت النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم وَهُوَ مُسْتَنِدٌ إلَيَّ، يَقُولُ: «اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي وارْحَمْنِي، وأَلْحِقْنِي بالرَّفِيقِ الأَعْلَى».
“‘Ā'ishah (may Allah be pleased with her) reported: I heard the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) saying: while reclining on me: "O Allah, forgive me, bestow Your mercy on me, and join me with the exalted companions."”
As the time for the death of the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) drew near, he reclined on the Mother of Believers ‘Ā'ishah (may Allah be pleased with her) asking his Lord to join him with the companions and they are the prophets, the virtuous people, the martyrs, and the righteous
