ONE HADITH A DAY

Never does the son of Adam do any deed that can save him from Allah's punishment more than remembering Allah

Ibn Abi Shaybah - At-Tabaraani - Narrated by Ahmad - Maalik · Authentic by Another chain of narrators

عن معاذ بن جبل رضي الله عنه قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم : «مَا عَمِلَ ابْنُ آدَمَ عَمَلًا أَنْجَى لَهُ مِنْ عَذَابِ اللَّهِ مِنْ ذِكْرِ اللَّهِ».

“Mu‘ādh ibn Jabal (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Never does the son of Adam do any deed that can save him from Allah's punishment more than remembering Allah.””
