عن معاوية بن حيدة رضي الله عنه قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم : «ويل للذي يحدث فيكذب؛ ليضحك به القوم، ويل له، ثم ويل له».
“Mu‘awiyah ibn Haydah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Woe to him who speaks and tells lies so as to make people laugh thereby. Woe to him! Woe to him!"”
