ONE HADITH A DAY

Whoever is presented with basil should not decline it. Indeed, it is light to carry and pleasant to smell

Narrated by Muslim · Authentic hadith

عن أبي هريرة رضي الله عنه مرفوعاً: «من عُرِضَ عليه رَيْحَانٌ فلا يرده، فإنه خفيف الْمَحْمِلِ، طيب الريح».

“Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Whoever is presented with basil should not decline it. Indeed, it is light to carry and pleasant to smell.””
