ONE HADITH A DAY

The Messenger of Allah (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him) forbade traveling with the Qur’an to the land of enemies

Narrated by Bukhari & Muslim · Authentic hadith

عن عبد الله بن عمر رضي الله عنهما مرفوعاً: نهى رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم أن يُسَافَرَ بالقرآن إلى أرض العدو.

“‘Abdullāh ibn ‘Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him) forbade traveling with the Qur’an to the land of enemies.”
