ONE HADITH A DAY

Do not turn your houses into graves. Indeed, Satan runs away from the house in which Surat al-Baqarah is recited

Narrated by Muslim · Authentic

عن أبي هريرة رضي الله عنه: أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: «لَا تَجْعَلُوا بُيُوتَكُمْ مَقَابِرَ، إِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ يَنْفِرُ مِنَ الْبَيْتِ الَّذِي تُقْرَأُ فِيهِ سُورَةُ الْبَقَرَةِ».

“Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Do not turn your houses into graves. Indeed, Satan runs away from the house in which Surat al-Baqarah is recited."”
