ONE HADITH A DAY

عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ رَضيَ اللهُ عنهُ قَالَ: لَمَّا نَزَلَتْ: {إِنَّا فَتَحْنَا لَكَ فَتْحًا مُبِينًا لِيَغْفِرَ لَكَ اللهُ} إِلَى قَوْلِهِ {فَوْزًا عَظِيمًا} [الفتح: ١-٥] مَرْجِعَهُ مِنَ الْحُدَيْبِيَةِ، وَهُمْ يُخَالِطُهُمُ الْحُزْنُ وَالْكَآبَةُ، وَقَدْ نَحَرَ الْهَدْيَ بِالْحُدَيْبِيَةِ، فَقَالَ: «لَقَدْ أُنْزِلَتْ عَلَيَّ آيَةٌ هِيَ أَحَبُّ إِلَيَّ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا جَمِيعًا».
“Anas ibn Mālik (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: When the following was revealed: {Indeed, We have given you [O Prophet] a clear conquest, so that Allah may forgive you} until His saying: {a supreme triumph} [Surat al-Fat'h: 1-5], as he was returning from Hudaybiyyah, while they were experiencing sadness and depression, and the sacrificial animals had been slaughtered at Hudaybiyyah, he said: "Verily, a verse has been revealed to me that is more beloved to me than the entire world."”
