ONE HADITH A DAY
Narrated by Al-Bukhāri · Authentic
عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: «لاَ يَزَالُ قَلْبُ الكَبِيرِ شَابًّا فِي اثْنَتَيْنِ: فِي حُبِّ الدُّنْيَا وَطُولِ الأَمَلِ».
“Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: I heard the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) say: "The heart of an elderly person remains young in two things: in the love of this world and long hopes."”
