ONE HADITH A DAY

On the Day of Resurrection, the Qur'an and its people who acted upon it in the life of this world will be brought forth

Narrated by Muslim · Authentic hadith

عن النواس بن سمعان رضي الله عنه قال: سمعتُ رسولَ اللهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يقولُ: «يُؤتى يوم القيامة بالقرآن وأهلِه الذين كانوا يعملون به في الدنيا، تَقْدُمُه سورةُ البقرة وآلِ عمران، تُحاجَّانِ عن صاحِبِهِما».

“An-Nawwās ibn Sam‘an reported: I heard the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) saying: “On the Day of Resurrection, the Qur'an and its people who acted upon it in the life of this world will be brought forth, preceded by Sūrat al-Baqarah and Sūrat Āl-‘Imrān, arguing on behalf of those who were committed to them.””
