ONE HADITH A DAY

No one, or nothing, is more patient about the offensive statements he hears than Allah. Verily, they ascribe a son to Him, yet He still grants them good health and sustenance

Narrated by Bukhari & Muslim · Authentic hadith

عن أبي موسى الأشعري رضي الله عنه مرفوعاً: «ليس أحد، أو: ليس شيء أصبر على أذًى سمعَه مِن الله، إنَّهم لَيَدْعُون له ولدًا، وإنَّه ليُعافِيهم ويرزُقُهم».

“Abu Mūsa al-Ash‘ari (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: "None, or nothing, is more patient about the offensive statements he hears than Allah. Verily, they ascribe a son to Him, yet He still grants them good health and sustenance.””
