ONE HADITH A DAY

It was mentioned in the letter that the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) sent to ‘Amr ibn Hazm that no one should touch the Qur'an unless he is pure

عن عبد الله بن أبي بكر بن حزم، أن في الكتاب الذي كتبه رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم لعَمْرو بن حَزْم: «أن لا يَمَسَّ القرآن إلا طَاهر».

“‘Abdullāh ibn Abi Bakr ibn Hazm reported that it was mentioned in a letter that the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) sent to ‘Amr ibn Hazm that: "No one should touch the Qur'an unless he is pure."”
