We were with ‘Umar, and he said: "We were forbidden from the affectation

Narrated by Al-Bukhāri · Authentic

عن أنس رضي الله عنه قال: كُنَّا عِنْدَ عُمَرَ فَقَالَ: «نُهِينَا عَنِ التَّكَلُّفِ».

“Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: We were with ‘Umar, and he said: "We were forbidden from the affectation."”
